Warner Bros Partners With Bloomingdale’s To Celebrate DC Comics 75th Anniversary With Exclusive Product Line

Warner Bros. has partnered with department store Bloomingdale’s to celebrate the upcoming 75th anniversary of DC Comics. Bloomingdale’s  will debut brand new shops featuring DC Comics-inspired clothes and accessories this holiday season.
Designers of the exclusive collection will include Trunk, Junk Food, Converse, Psycho Bunny and JACK SPADE in men’s and Because We Were Bored in Young World.12
DC Comics will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2010, with multi-faceted, yearlong activities by the collection at Bloomingdale’s this month.
The upscale prominent retailer will kick off the festivities on October 14. “New York Nights” events will be action-packed, Gotham-style celebrations that will showcase hors d’oeuvres and fashion to launch the exclusive DC Comics-inspired collection.
The Third Avenue windows of its flagship 59th Street store in Manhattan will also highlight the anniversary collection beginning in November.
The men’s collection will feature t-shirts, socks, scarves, tote bags, ties, cufflinks and more. Bloomingdale’s Young World department will have the inspired products during the holiday season, which will include tees and hoodies from Because We Were Bored. Price will range from $30 for a pair of Psychi Bunny socks to $224 for a JACK SPADE tote.
DC Comics has also released rarely-seen comic book imagery, which will be featured exclusively by Bloomingdale’s.
