Most guys know how annoying it can be to go out and end up with your date’s makeup on your dress shirt. Whether you’re at the stage in life of a first date, a girlfriend, or a wife, you’ll find that most women wear makeup and it can often end up on your shirt.
Usually this tends to happen while hugging or when a girl puts her head on your shoulder, say, during a movie or something. Here are a couple of tips to help you avoid letting this happen. Hopefully it’ll help you cut down on your dry cleaning bill.

Tip #1: Date girls who don’t wear too much makeup:

Usually, the problem starts when you take out a girl who wears too much makeup. And by makeup, I mean foundation. Foundation is the flesh-toned makeup that women use all over their face (it matches the skin on their face). They do this to even out their skin tone, and cover up blemishes, etc. Most women who have learned common makeup tips know better than to overdo their foundation. But there are still women who miss the mark and just gob it on. It might surprise you to know that there are women out there who don’t even have to wear foundation because they have nice enough skin and don’t need to cover it up. These girls often look much better and more natural. Remember that girls who wear too much makeup are usually just covering something up because they aren’t confident about their natural beauty. By dating girls who wear minimal foundation or none at all, you’ll be killing two birds with one stone: you’ll save your shirts and you’ll avoid potentially getting involved with a girl who could be insecure and fake.

Tip #2: Match your shirt to the occasion:

If you know that you’re going to end up back at your place watching a movie on a given night, or if you know that you’re at the point in your relationship where your date will probably be resting her head on your shoulder while your at the movies that evening, wear an easy-to-wash or stain resistant shirt instead of one of your nicer dry-cleaning-required ones. A cotton golf shirt or a trendy t-shirt can still be a great date look and can easily be thrown in the hamper afterward. These types of shirts are also more rugged and can be washed at home with a heavier duty detergent.
